Headquartered in Orange County, California, DPG was founded by Darren Devine and Steve Prohaska, coming together after over a decade of collaboration with a modern services platform that helps businesses scale efficiently while driving cost savings.

Meet the founders

  • DARREN

    Darren Devine

    PARTNER, STRATEGIC ALLIANCES

    Darren is a CPA with 23 years in accounting and finance, specializing in audit readiness, scaling, and sell-side transactions. He has served as CFO and senior finance leader in renewable energy, real estate, and VC-backed ventures, designing reporting systems, controls, and digital automation. He held executive roles at Linea Energy, Cypress Creek Renewables, and American Homes 4 Rent (NYSE: AMH).

    Darren obtained his CPA with PwC and holds a BBA in Finance from Simon Fraser University and a Diploma in Accounting from the University of British Columbia. In 2025, he also earned his California insurance license.

    Steve Prohaska

    PARTNER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    Steve spent 10 years in audit, accounting, and financial reporting roles and then 6 years in tech focused on driving growth, as both an individual contributor and a leader.

    As a financial professional, he focused on mitigating business risk, developing scalable processes, and implementing enterprise systems for everything from procure-to-pay to SEC reporting. In tech, Steve secured marquee logos, expanded Fortune 10 accounts, and led large sales teams to massive growth. He’s an analytical leader who loves his customers and thrives on building high-performing teams.

    Dana Alkaabi-Ballatan

    HR & OPERATIONS

    Dana is a global HR and talent acquisition leader with over 13 years of experience building scalable people operations and offshore talent solutions.

    Holding advanced degrees in psychology and law, she specializes in strategic hiring, global workforce planning, and recruitment systems for distributed teams. She has partnered with founders and executives across APAC, the US, and EMEA, with experience spanning technology, SaaS, fintech, professional services, and business process outsourcing.
